COMMUNITY GARDEN
Join our community garden!
Open to individuals of all experience levels, our community garden plots provide space for community members who want to grow their own food — especially for those who may not have access to land at home.
Plots are 30 in × 30 ft and available to rent from May through October. We provide the plot, tools, water, and basic resources — you bring your seeds, plants, and the care to help them grow.
Members can reserve a plot for themselves or choose to garden alongside a group of friends or family. A limited number of plots are available each season.

Community Garden FAQ
-
Garden plots are open to beginners and experienced growers alike. Our Community Garden Manager is available to support you as you learn to grow your own food.
We’ll kick off the growing season with a group orientation and potluck, where you’ll meet your garden neighbors and start building a community that can share tips, tricks, and encouragement throughout the season.
-
Water and Irrigation - A frost-free yard hydrant will be available near the garden plots, with hoses provided for hand watering.
Tool Kiosk - A small tool kiosk located at the edge of the community garden plots will offer basic gardening tools such as shovels, trowels, rakes, and hoes. Gardeners are welcome to store additional tools at the kiosk.
Important garden information, including assigned plots, rules, and contact details, will be posted at the kiosk. -
Maintaining a garden plot typically takes 3–5 hours per week for tasks like weeding, watering, harvesting, and general garden care. Skipping time one week may mean a bit of extra work the next, especially when it comes to keeping weeds under control.
Of course, it’s easy to get caught up chatting with a neighbor while you’re out there — and that’s part of the fun.
