Experience Agriculture Firsthand with a Field Trip to New Roots Community FarM

Our farm field trips offer a unique, hands-on learning experience for students in preschool through 12th grade, tailored to the season, age group, and the work happening on the farm.

Students will explore various aspects of agriculture, from understanding the U.S. food system and the impact of farming on daily life to nutrition literacy, self-sufficiency, and gardening. 

Open to PK-12, Each visit is designed to be interactive and fun, engaging students in farm tasks and lessons that make learning about agriculture an unforgettable experience.

Field trips are available on select weekdays throughout the year.

  • Trips run from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (3 hours).

  • We can accommodate up to 80 students per visit.

  • Larger groups are divided into smaller, manageable rotations.

  • Small groups are always welcome.

  • Student safety and supervision are our top priorities!
